Our Story
Since 1987, Chabad Jewish Academy (CJA) has proudly served the vibrant Jewish community of Coastal Carolina. What began as a small initiative has grown into a thriving school, now educating nearly 100 students in our elementary program. For nearly four decades, we’ve remained dedicated to preparing generations of Jewish children for success—nurturing their minds, hearts, and souls, which proudly serves as the school’s motto.
Our growth is a testament to the incredible support of the Myrtle Beach Jewish community and its leaders, who have been guided and inspired by the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s visionary leadership and constant blessings.
At CJA, we welcome families from all walks of Jewish life, fostering a warm, inclusive environment rooted in shared values and personal exploration of Jewish identity.
CJA’s mission remains the same as it was on day one: to provide an exceptional education paired with a deep connection to our Jewish heritage. Our graduates leave with the knowledge, character, and confidence to make a meaningful impact in their communities and the world.
